Foreign Worker Dormitory in Singapore

Post by WorkerDormitory » Sat Dec 03, 2016 3:01 pm

Hi All,

Was wondering if any of you have heard of Foreign Worker Dormitories in Singapore and are interested to find out more. It is a type of industrial property that is rented out usually directly to companies for housing their foreign workers. In recent years, there have been many new developments of purpose-built dormitories used to house up to 20,000 residents each. While this industry has been around for quite a few years considering our country's dependence on foreign workers, it has recently undergone a great deal of improvement driven by new government policies such as the Foreign Employee Dormitory Act (FEDA) enacted in 2016.

If any of you have any questions about this type of industrial property do drop me an email at or visit our website - which is updated regularly with new developments in the industry.

Thank you!
